Compusense

Features & Benefits: Increase Productivity

Test Creation

It’s so simple to set-up a test in Compusense® five. That’s because we’ve designed the software for sensory research professionals. You’ll never have to think twice about learning a clumsy scripting language when you prepare a test. With Compusense five’s intuitive interface design, you’ll have your test up in a snap.

Test Overview

Consult the test overview flow chart for a step-by-step guide for running a test.

Create Templates

You can save tests, questions and attributes to a shared library that can be accessed by other analysts in your organization. This gives them the chance to easily establish corporate precedents and leverage any, or some, of these elements to speed up the creation of a new test simplifying the workflow, minimizing redundancy and maximizing productivity.

Instant Preview

Compusense five’s text editing tools allow you to preview a test as you create it. This gives you an excellent opportunity to tweak and revise the test, preserving valuable time and expense, while affording the opportunity to view the test from the panelist’s perspective.

Variety of Sample Presentations

When it comes to presenting samples to your panels, Compusense five spoils you for choice. For example, a panelist can enter a code to receive a predetermined sample set. Alternatively, they can receive the next available sample set in the sequence of the design. In addition, you can assign samples to specific panelists making it easy to monitor, control and replicate studies.

Present Multiple Projects

Our exclusive Compusense five Plus module gives you true multi-tasking capability. Now, you can handle as many projects as you like and continuously monitor active tests. Interested in simultaneously conducting a taste test, packaging test and attitude survey? With Compusense five Plus you can present all these tests—to the same panelists—at one sitting. Plus, you can run the day’s projects for panelists who can arrive and get their tests on demand.

Mini Databases for Products and Panelists

Code, name and categorize products and databases to search, query and select from a wide range of criteria. You can easily import and export data from external Access-type databases or Excel-type spreadsheets. Generate attendance reports—set date ranges, search for specific panelists and tally the number of tests completed by each panelist—right from the panelist databases.

Alphanumeric Blinding Codes

Modify your custom database of product identification codes.
